Led by the Department of Health, with developmental partners, the Philippines officially broke the record of largest human lung formation in the World, gathering over nearly 6,000 individuals. The historic event, held in Quirino Grandstand, aims to eradicate the stigma and raise global awareness about tuberculosis.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), TB is the 13th leading cause of death and the second leading infectious killer after COVID-19, with around 1.6 million people succumbing to TB in 2021.
